Link Parties – Here’s Where I Link Up

Link parties are a great way to drive traffic to your blog and also discover new blogs! I’ve found so many great new blogs through link parties. And joining is so easy. There will be a button or link for you to add the post you want to share, and then a dialogue box will pop up asking for your link, the title you want to appear, the featured image and your email. That’s it! While you’re there check out the other links and find new blogs. Drop your host a comment thanking them for hosting. Many hosts ask for a follow on one of their social media platforms also. It’s all about sharing the love!

I’ve recently discovered Trello and have been using it for my editorial calendar. One of the super-fantastic-awesome features of Trello is the checklist. I have a card for link parties and keep checklists for each day of the week and the parties that start on those days. Checklists can be copied into other cards so I just add the checklist to each card I create for posts. Links are supported so it’s really easy to open my post card and then click each link to visit the party.
